More than a platter, this is a stunning work of art, consisting of a rainbow and black cane wig-wag pattern on the inside, surrounded by a glossy black rim.
This platter lays flat at only 2 1/2 inches tall and 16 1/2 inches in diameter. It can be displayed horizontally on a table or counter, hung on a wall (wire hanger included), or vertically on a display stand (plate stand sold separately).
When a platter is made out of 2,000 degree hot glass spinning on the end of a punty, there will be minor imperfections, as with most handmade items. And on this platter, there is one small bubble where the black rim meets the cane portion (pictured in the second photograph), which is only noticeable upon close inspection.
